Turkish authorities on Thursday released the family of the off-duty policeman who assassinated Russia’s Ambassador to Ankara, Andrey Karlov.
Police had detained Altintas’ mother, father, sister and two other relatives for questioning.
He was killed after gunning down Karlov on Monday evening at an art exhibition in Ankara.
